The intern in this position will work with the sales department and report directly to the Inside Sales Team Manager.
Plymouth Technology, Inc. seeks a Corporate Sales and Marketing Intern who will possess a natural, yet professional ease at working with and relating to the needs of corporate sales and marketing employees in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will work with an experienced team of sales and marketing professionals in a highly goal and team-oriented atmosphere, gathering primary market research data, assisting with direct mail activities including list development, maintenance and fulfillment, editing sales proposals, making inside sales calls, letter writing and data entry. In addition, the intern will be involved in providing general administrative assistance to the Sales and Marketing Manager(s). The ideal candidate will possess excellent computer skills, impeccable organizational skills and should be able to take on and execute multiple tasks with minimal supervision. Since unpaid internship programs are designed for STUDENTS ONLY.
If enrolled in an internship class that requires hours completed during the semester, Plymouth Technology is very flexible to help you meet these requirements.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Conduct research using online tools and other search methods (training provided)
2. Execute mailings and build targeted lists
3. Use online web-based system to update and maintain contact records (training provided)
4. Marketing research project on specific field of study
5. Other projects as requested
